Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Mathematics or any equivalent.
- At least 2 years experience as Actuarial Assistant or Actuarial Analyst
- Extensive knowledge of the operations of an HMO company
- Must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Access)
- Management, organizational and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Programming (preferred but not a must)
Job Description:
- Prepares costing of highly customized and complex prospective group accounts
- Validates claims analysis prepared by Actuarial Analyst
- Prepares renewal costing of major accounts and high utilizing accounts
- Provides support in the negotiations by doing Sales calls both for new and renewal business
- Validates the ABC of major accounts
- Review of the Weekly Sales Reports (NAP and GMD Sales reports)
- Review of the monthly Persistency Report
- Provide support to Sales and Marketing by actively participating in various group roll-out (new business and renewal)
- Ensures timely release of all regular reports
- Provide support to various functional areas in relation to various issues related to Underwriting Guidelines/Protocols
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time
