POSITION OVERVIEW
The role of the holder is to lead security teams under the guidance & supervision of Head – Security & Vigilance, towards achieving the vision in line with the strategy, to ensure security & safety of employees, assets & facilities & back up Head – Security & Vigilance in his absence.
REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (ESSENTIAL)
- Must be an intelligent, articulate and persuasive leader who can serve as an effective member of the middle management team and take charge in the absence of the Head of Security and Vigilance.
- Ability to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
- Should have experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation.
- Must have strong working knowledge of pertinent law and the law enforcement community.
- Must have a fair understanding of IT and information security as well.
EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (ESSENTIAL/DESIRED)
- Graduate in any discipline with a training/course in law is preferable
- 8-10 yrs of experience in security
- Knowledgeable in computer applications
- Fire fighting certification / security certification (local)
