Quality Systems Management Manager


Primary Purpose of the Position


• To lead and manage the Quality Systems
Department.
• To ensure the maintenance and update of the
QMS for continued compliance to ISO and
other applicable standards and support the
achievement of the quality objectives of the
company.


Job Description


1. Manage and monitor the daily operations and
activities of the Quality Systems Department.
2. Manage the maintenance and update of the
QMS for continued compliance to ISO and
other applicable standards.
3. Collaborate with all functions on the quality
system compliance metrics to align
expectations and output.
4. Develop quality system audit plans,
management review programs and manage
implementations.
5. Administer Internal Quality Audit to cover the
various aspects of the company quality
management system following IQA schedule,
communicate assessment feedback and
coordinate required corrective actions.
6. Serve as focal point for customer / industry
quality system audits and requests for
corrective action.
7. Manage the entire Corrective Action System,
ensure immediate close‐out of findings and
monitor effectiveness of actions taken.
Recommend improvement in products or
quality standards where warranted.
8. Assist in the development or revision of overall
corporate procedures, policies and guidelines
to ensure continued compliance to ISO and
other applicable standards.
9. Coordinate with all relevant functions in
resolving quality system issues and provide
assistance to attain compliance.
10. Facilitate risk analysis, problem solving and
process improvement projects within the
manufacturing environment.
11. Manage the supplier qualification,
accreditation and quality performance.
12. Monitor the review of performance and assist
in administering corrective action plans.
13. Participate in annual division planning to align
department goals and objectives with division
strategic goals and objectives.
14. Prepare the annual department budgets;
monitor and adjust budgets as appropriate and
in accordance with policy.
15. Develop and implement strategies and
initiatives in managing the Quality Systems
Department.
16. Train Internal Quality Auditors to assist in the
effective implementation of the QMS.
17. Continually adapt the Quality Systems Team in
response to QMS compliance and continuous
improvement challenges.
18. Promote a culture of customer‐focused,
consistent and efficient delivery of tasks.
19. Assess potential areas of opportunity in the
execution of tasks that would support
customer satisfaction activities.
20. Conduct systematic and ongoing evaluations of
all Quality Systems Department services;
identify operational problems and formulate
and implement solutions.


Job Specifications


1. Graduate of Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical
Engineering; Business Education
2. Complete knowledge of quality assurance
principles, practices and procedures, including
ISO 9001 and 14001 and other QMS standards.
3. Knowledge of continuous improvement
methodologies including Six Sigma and Lean
Manufacturing
4. Knowledge in doing statistical methods,
structured root cause analysis and problem
solving methods
5. With 3 years of work experience in Quality
Management System build up, implementation
and management on an organization wide
basis
